The Importance of Problem-Solving

This is a skill that helps you in all facets of life. Life becomes easier when you look at it logically.

At the core, it’s about breaking down a bigger problem into smaller ones and identifying patterns. Your IQ increases when you push your thinking.

It’s also needed to grow in your career as this is what separates a junior dev (who does what she is told) vs a senior dev (who breaks down the problem statement to figure out what to do). A side effect of practicing problem-solving is that you also start clearing OAs for big companies.

Is this for me?

This is for you if you want to grow your critical thinking skills and open more doors of opportunity.

The best time to invest in problem-solving is when you are NOT looking actively to switch. Why? Because mastering fundamentals and building a strong foundation takes time.

In case you want to switch within the next 2-3 months, go to leetcode and practice past questions of the companies you’re targeting. This is NOT for you.

How does it work?

We believe in reps. You have to be consistent and have a strong motivation to show up every day. That’s the only way.

Want to run a marathon? Start small. Do reps of increasing difficulty. That’s the only way.

Want to do 100 pushups? Start small. Do reps of increasing difficulty. That’s the only way.
